Leland Snowplay started this month in great shape with 3 feet of man-made snow, and this last week Mother Nature more than doubled that number! Despite the disappointing start to the season, March is looking FANTASTIC. We are open 6 days a week (closed Wednesdays) 10am to 5pm. All our lifts and tows are open, all the tubing and sledding lanes are looking perfect, and our staff is working hard to give you the best snowplay of the season. Just check out the scenery and conditions in the video HERE!

The National Weather Service is predicting series of small, weak systems over the course of the next week, with light intermittent precipitation; a mild wintry mix which isn’t predicted to impact us much. In fact, the roads are 100% clear right now, and we are expecting that to remain true for most of the weekend. As always, please consult Cal Trans for the latest road information.

As we move deeper into March, we are expecting longer days and the slow melt of all this wonderful snow. Given the last few months, our intention is to working hard to maintain these awesome conditions for many weeks to come. In order to make that happen, we really need to see everyone who missed out on snowplay in December and January to pay us a visit this month. The conditions are great, but they won’t last forever. So, before your attention shifts to spring activities, check your calendar, and make plans for one more trip to the snow! Things are looking phenomenal on the hill, and we can’t wait to see you up here!
