If you haven't been here before, we invite you to come up and see for yourself why we're the Biggest & Best Snow Play Facility in the Sierra. Come and play during the week to take advantage of our discounted mid-week rates and fewer snowplayers! So take a break from work, pack up the kids and come play in the snow with us!  Were open from when the first snow falls to about mid-April.

At 6300 feet, this beautiful & natural setting is another world away. It is remarkably accessible though. Located in Tuolumne County, in the heart of Gold Country, Leland High Sierra is 39 miles east of Sonora on Highway 108, 3 hours from the San Francisco Bay Area and 2 hours from most Central Valley cities. We are your closest snow to home. Our snowcats assure well groomed snow. Family owned and operated, Leland High Sierra retains that cozy Alpine feeling but, with 12 acres of Snowplay fun is large enough to accommodate any sized group. We've saved the best news for last. The biggest & best snow play facility in the sierras is also the most affordable!!!

 

As many of our Snowplay guests know, Leland High Sierra Snowplay has been in the process of completing all the necessary steps in order to install  tows which will tow guests up to the top of our Snowplay hill. As many of you experienced last season we were finally able to install and operate one tow. This summer we have completed

the installation of the  second tow to enhance the snowplay experience!   Now riding up the hill is almost as fun as coming down! We are excited to be able to provide this equipment to our guests along with the same quality of service you have always experienced in the past! Thank you all for your patience and lets get ready to have some great winter fun in 2009/2010!!!
